Apple Yummies

2 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
10 ounces Mt. Dew
cinnamon
16 servings
Peel and slice apples into 16 slices.
Roll 1 apple slice into each crescent roll and place in 13X9 baking dish.
Melt butter, sugar, and vanilla in sauce pan (do not carmelize- just enough to melt sugar).
Pour mixture over rolls, sprinkle wtih cinnamon, then pour Mt. Dew over top of rolls.
Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Then cover with foil and bake another 10 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream - ENJOY!
